ICT Cryobankreceived a grant from the European Cooperation in Science and Technology

The material and technical base as well asstaff potential of the Cryobank allow to carry out complex scientific investigationson the molecular level and to elaboratecompetitive scientific products – new methods and drugs

 The scientific achievements of the Institute of Cell Therapy have been increasingly attractingattention of foreign scientists. Actually the Institute for Cell Therapy Cryobankis involved in the implementation of a number of international scientific projects, in particular COST action CA17116 for the evaluation of placenta stem cells. The Institute for Cell Therapy received a grant from the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) for the implementation of this project

 The purpose of the COST action project is to bring together competent academic, clinical and industrial centers for basic research on perinatal tissues (umbilical cord, placenta), as well as to promote translational (being introduced into practical health care) research in this field

 European Cooperation in Science and Technology is localized in Brussels (Belgium) and since 1971 has funded the most promising scientific research from the budget received through various European Union programs, including Horizon 2020

 To date, the European Co-operation in Science and Technology has 38 members and 1 collaborating member, including leading research centers in Austria, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Israel, China, India and other countries. Ukraine in the European Co-operation for Science and Technology is represented by the Institute of Cell Therapy

 Institute of Cell Therapy Cryobank is the Ukraine’s first and only ISO-accredited Cryobank. Institute of Cell Therapy Cryobank offers a wide range of services on  placenta, umbilical cordblood and umbilical cord storage as well as the manufacturing of exclusive cell and tissue preparations for the whole family
