The ICT Kit for the Collection and Transportation of Biomaterial is among the Kits of the world leading biobanks

The well-known international organization Parentsguide to Cord Blood Foundation, which provides future parents with the quality and reliable information on the storage of perinatal tissues (umbilical cord blood, umbilical cord, placenta) reviewed the “Kit for collection and transportation of biomaterial” of the Institute of Cell Therapy and placed it together with the relevant kits of the world leading biobanks https://parentsguidecordblood.org/en/news/photo-gallery-cord-blood-collection-kits, https://parentsguidecordblood.org/ru/node/18188

Recall that the Kit for collection and transportation of biomaterial of the Institute of Cell Therapy is the only one in Ukraine registered by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine as a medical product.

The Institute of Cell Therapy kit is based on the world best experience. The kit contains only consumables certified by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The walls of the container for biomaterial transportation and refrigerants provide the required temperature throughout the period of transportation of biomaterial from any part of Ukraine to the capital laboratory of the Institute of Cell Therapy Cryobank, and temperature monitoring is carried out by a thermoregistrator inside the box.

It is known that the quality of drugs made of biological material, in particular umbilical cord blood / umbilical cord / placenta, and the viability of stem cells isolated from them, depends not only on the processing of initial materials, but also on the peculiarities of collection and transportation of tissues from the hospital. The conditions for the collection, transportation, processing, testing and cryopreservation of umbilical cord blood are set out in the EU directives and the  NetCord-FACT International Standards for Cord Blood Collection, Banking, and Release for Administration, which are strictly adhered to by the Institute of Cell Therapy.

Further processing of the collected biomaterial takes place in the ISO-accredited Cryobank of the Institute of Cell Therapy, which already during 18 years has been storing the most valuable – the health reserve of its customers in the form of cell deposits.
